What You’ll Do
As a key member of our team, you will help support smooth, efficient, and comfortable patient care by:
Supervise and support front office team members, including training, scheduling, and performance coaching
Ensure daily tasks such as patient check-in/out, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling are completed accurately and efficiently
Maintain daily schedule and provider productivity through proactive appointment management
Address and resolve patient concerns and complaints with professionalism and empathy
Oversee financial processes including co-pay collection, payment plans, and balancing daily transactions
Monitor front desk metrics (e.g., schedule utilization, confirmation rates, no-shows) and identify improvement opportunities
Collaborate with the Office Manager and clinical team to ensure seamless patient flow and service delivery
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and internal policies
Maintain accurate records and documentation for front office processes
Promote a team-first culture and actively model Squire Dental’s core values
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental front office role
Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity
Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and patient scheduling
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
Proficiency in dental software systems (Denticon)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and operate standard office equipment for extended periods
Occasional lifting of office supplies or documentation
High-paced, patient-facing environment requiring multitasking and time management
