Join Our Caring Dental Team as a Part-Time Dental Hygienist!

We are currently seeking a skilled part-time Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our general practice, owned and operated by a single doctor. As a vital member of our dental team, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality hygiene services that contribute to the overall health and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments, including oral cancer screenings, periodontal assessments, and gingivitis screenings.
- Execute clinical procedures, including scaling and root planing, prophylaxis, and nitrous oxide administration.
- Provide patients with oral hygiene instruction and personalized treatment plans to improve their dental health.
- Effectively utilize dental technology, including Dentrix and DEXIS software for patient records and charting.
- Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment by adhering to infection control protocols and utilizing provided PPE, such as disposable gowns, gloves, and masks.

Qualifications:
- Valid RDH certification and state licensure.
- Proficient in calculus removal, patient recall, and treatment planning.
- Experience with pediatric hygiene and oral pathology screening is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to foster trust and understanding with patients.

Schedule and Compensation:
This part-time position offers flexible scheduling with an hour-long lunch break. You will provide dedicated care to one patient at a time, spending approximately 50 minutes with recall patients and 60 minutes with new patients. We value your expertise and offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $47 to $62.
