Dental assistant
LOCATION
Brooklyn, NYWe are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join a modern, patient-focused dental office serving both general and private practice needs. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and a strong commitment to delivering excellent care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities include chairside assistance, six-handed dentistry, taking impressions, iTero scanning, CT scan support, radiology, digital X-rays, intraoral camera use, instrument sterilization, sterile procedures, inventory management, ordering supplies, and assisting with crowns, implants, Invisalign, veneers, and Zoom whitening. Additional duties include patient care, patient education, customer service, and support for special needs patients. Experience with Dentrix, DEXIS, and other advanced dental technology is preferred.
Candidates must be skilled in patient communication, attention to detail, and maintaining a clean, organized clinical area. Proper use of PPE is required, including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex gloves, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. A high school education is expected.
This position offers a 30-minute lunch break and a compensation range of $28–$30 per hour, depending on experience. Our office is known for cutting-edge technology, general and cosmetic dentistry, and a friendly staff that works together to provide a positive patient experience.
