Part-Time Dental Assistant | Cosmetic & General Dentistry

We are seeking a dependable, proactive, and personable part-time Dental Assistant to join our growing boutique practice focused on cosmetic and general dentistry.

At Seviin Cosmetics, we care deeply about both the quality of our dentistry and how our patients feel throughout their experience. We are building a practice that feels calm, elevated, welcoming, and intentional rather than like a traditional dental office. Our ideal assistant understands that the details matter, both clinically and in the way we care for our patients.

This is a part-time position, approximately 2–4 days per week depending on patient demand and practice needs. There may be opportunities for additional hours as the practice grows.

What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate has 1–2+ years of dental assisting experience and a strong foundation in general dentistry. Cosmetic dentistry experience is a plus, but not required.

We are looking for someone who:
• Has strong chairside assisting fundamentals and understands proper infection control and sterilization protocols
• Can confidently set up and break down operatories and maintain an organized clinical environment
• Is comfortable with radiographs, impressions/scans, provisional fabrication, and digital dental workflows
• Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in doing things correctly
• Can anticipate the doctor's needs rather than waiting to be told what to do
• Communicates warmly and professionally with patients
• Is comfortable working with patients who may be anxious or require a higher level of attention and reassurance
• Is dependable, punctual, and prepared
• Is highly coachable and receptive to feedback
• Takes initiative and looks for ways to make the day run more smoothly
• Brings a positive, solution-oriented attitude to the workplace
• Wants to contribute to the growth and culture of a small practice rather than simply clock in and clock out

We understand that no one walks in knowing exactly how we do everything at Seviin. We can teach our systems. What is much harder to teach is initiative, character, curiosity, and genuine care for the work and the people around you.

The Role: This is primarily a clinical chairside assisting position. Front-office cross-training is not required, although a willingness to occasionally support basic patient flow and team needs is appreciated.
You will work closely with the doctor and a small team, assisting with general and cosmetic procedures while helping create the high-touch patient experience that Seviin is known for.
The role requires someone who can work independently when appropriate while also knowing when to ask questions and seek clarification.

Compensation & Schedule: $25–$30/hour, depending on experience and skill level.
Part-time: approximately 2–4 days per week, based on patient demand and practice needs. Benefits are not currently offered. PPE is provided, and free parking is available in the commercial lot.
