Bittner Family Dental Group is a well-established, multi-doctor private practice in San Jose seeking an experienced Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant who takes pride in providing exceptional patient care and supporting high-quality dentistry.

We are not a high-volume corporate office. Our focus is on excellent clinical care, long-term patient relationships, advanced technology, and a positive team culture.

THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION

Applicants should already be comfortable assisting with restorative procedures, digital X-rays, sterilization protocols, and maintaining efficient clinical flow with minimal training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
Support restorative, crown, implant, and general dental procedures
Prepare and break down treatment rooms
Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
Take high-quality digital X-rays
Assist with impressions, scans, and lab tasks
Maintain accurate charting and clinical notes
Help create a calm, polished patient experience
Anticipate doctors' needs and maintain efficient clinical flow
Keep operatories organized, stocked, and ready
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years of recent dental assisting experience
Current X-ray certification
Comfortable assisting with restorative procedures and crown appointments
Strong understanding of sterilization and operatory flow
Professional communication skills
Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Ability to reliably commute to San Jose, CA 95129
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

RDA license
iTero scanning
CEREC / same-day crown workflows
Dentrix software
Private practice experience
Implant, Invisalign, cosmetic, or oral surgery assisting
SCHEDULE

Full-Time
Monday–Thursday
Occasional Saturdays as needed
In-person position in San Jose, CA 95129
