Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Joppatowne, MDWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented dental team member to support a busy general practice. This full-time role is ideal for someone with a high school education who enjoys helping patients feel comfortable while contributing to the smooth operation of a professional dental office.
Key responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, assisting the dentist during procedures, sterilizing instruments, taking dental X-rays, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will also help with chairside support, set up and break down operatories, and ensure that equipment and materials are ready for each appointment. Strong communication, organization, and a friendly attitude are important in this role.
An X-ray certification is required. Previous dental office experience is preferred, but motivated candidates with the right skills and a willingness to learn will also be considered. Cross-training is not required.
This full-time position includes a 1-hour lunch break and offers a competitive hourly rate of $20–$26, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include PTO, 401(k), and performance bonuses.
