Part time (Tuesday-Thursday) in the Museum District

We are seeking a dedicated dental hygienist to join our general dentistry team in a smaller, family-oriented practice where patient care always comes first. This is a part-time position in a one-doctor office that values quality over volume and does not push unnecessary products or services. Our patients are long-standing members of the community, including many multi-generational families, which creates a warm and trusting environment for both patients and team members.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building relationships, delivering excellent preventive care, and working in a setting that allows time to do the job thoroughly. Each hygienist has the flexibility to make their own schedule and customize appointment time based on each patient’s needs. You will see one patient at a time, with approximately one hour typically scheduled per adult appointment, allowing you to focus on comprehensive, individualized care. A one-hour lunch break is provided.

Responsibilities include calculus removal, Cavitron use, dental charting, oral hygiene instruction, periodontal screening, prophylaxis, and scaling and root planing. We are looking for someone who is confident, organized, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with the doctor and team to support the best possible patient outcomes.

Our office features modern equipment, digital X-rays, ergonomic operator chairs, and dry sterilization that greatly reduces the need for sharpening instruments. If needed, we are open to purchasing equipment that works best for you. We also provide appropriate PPE, including face shields, goggles, latex gloves, nitrile gloves, and regular masks, to support a safe and professional clinical environment.

This is a great opportunity for a hygienist who values strong patient relationships, clinical autonomy, and a supportive workplace. We offer a competitive pay range of $60–$70 per hour, with production bonuses available, along with health insurance, PTO/sick days, and a 401(k) with match.
