Private practice searching for part time Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and personable dental hygienist to join a small, relationship-based, one-doctor private practice dedicated to comprehensive general dentistry. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a professional who values quality care, patient education, and a collaborative team environment. Our practice focuses on crown and bridge, composite fillings, implant restorations, Invisalign, and TMD management with occlusal guard therapy. This position is available because our current hygienist is retiring, creating an opportunity to become an important part of a trusted and established office.

The right candidate will be confident, knowledgeable, and comfortable educating patients about oral health and preventive care. A warm, approachable manner is essential, along with the ability to build strong patient relationships and contribute positively to a close-knit team. We are looking for someone who is team-oriented, dependable, and experienced in private practice settings. Familiarity with Eaglesoft is required, and experience with Schick, digital X-rays, and Pankey principles is highly valued.

In this role, you will see one patient at a time and typically spend about one hour with each patient, allowing for thorough, individualized care. Responsibilities include performing hygiene treatments, taking and evaluating digital radiographs, supporting comprehensive oral health assessments, and reinforcing home care instruction. Professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Applicants should have at least one year of experience in private practice and an education level appropriate for a college-trained dental hygiene professional. The office hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break. Onsite free parking is available for staff convenience.

We provide a safe and well-equipped environment, including disposable gowns, face shields, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Compensation is competitive and negotiable based on experience, and the benefits package includes a 401(k).
