SCHEDULE COORDINATOR ROLE:
The critical role of the Scheduling Coordinator is to oversee and ensure that the schedule is managed efficiently while meeting the production and collection goals.
The ideal candidate for this position is well-versed in dental procedures and can present treatment proposals to the patient; has a good report with the major players in 3rd party patient financing and can assist the patient in finding the finances necessary to move forward with treatment; is organized and able to maintain systems to follow up and follow through with patients every step of the way.
The schedule coordinator is expected to assist the doctor with case presentation, discuss financial arrangements, assist with finance companies if needed, and close the deal. You’ll also be required to lead the administrative team to ensure other basic office duties are carried out daily and coordinate with the hygiene coordinator to ensure both the doctor and hygienist schedules speak to the overall goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Greet Patients
● Answer phones
● Check and respond to voicemails & text messages.
● Manage Schedule (schedule to goal)
● Track daily, weekly, and monthly goals and keep Dr. Dunson and the team updated on where we stand.
● Schedule checklist/chart review (going through scheduled hyg.pt. and making sure we have everything we need before their appt.) i.e.. Current address, last health hx. update, current bal. next appt……..
● Patient check-in/check-out
● Verify Insurance
● File and Research Insurance Claims
● Payment Processing
● Ensures the patient is comfortable throughout the entire process
● Listens intently to the patient to understand first, inform second.
● Gather’s X-rays, 3D scans, etc.
● Works to understand how to read and explain scans
● Creates and presents treatment plan
● Brings in the doctor at the right times during the consultation
● Overcomes Objections
● Works out financing and helps the patient apply to 5 or more financing companies to increase the odds of approval
● Calls for special rates and researches every way possible to help them pay for treatment.
● Close the Deal with a signed contract and or payment plan.
● After the case presentation:
● Follows command center protocol, updates notes, tasks, lead value and dates
Maintains an efficient schedule while meeting goals and observing scheduling protocols in place
REQUIREMENTS:

● You must have or possess a desire to improve your sales skills.
● Have a confident, outgoing, friendly personality.

● Must be comfortable asking financial questions and discussing payment options.
● Be an advocate for the patient using various methods to provide financial solutions.
Must be fluent in Spanish
RESULTS:
● Change lives by committing patients to move forward with a dental implant treatment plan and then supporting them in finding the financial plan that will enable them to receive treatment.

Our Midtown office is conveniently located in between 12th and 13th street on Peachtree Street NE in Atlanta. We also have an office located at 1147 S. Hairston Rd. Stone Mountain, GA 30088. Hygienists love our practice because we promote quality over quantity. We believe that it is important for patients to receive quality care and as such quality time must be invested. Our scheduling format follows a 45-60 minute time block for recall and perio maintenance appointments while we allow 1.5 to 2 hours for SRP and NP appointments. When appointments overlap, we have other team members to assist with the patient records while the hygienist sees to the cleaning of the overlapped patient. As such our patients experience zero to minimal wait times. We also have incorporate temperature checks, wellness forms and extra curbside waiting as well as extra PPE to ensure our team members and patients can maintain social distancing as much as possible.
