Qualifications:

-A consistent positive attitude, genuine passion for providing quality patient care, and promoting a high standard of professionalism at all times
-Completion of a dental assistant program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) or equivalent.
-Current CPR certification.
-Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and terminology.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including fillings, crown preparations, extractions, and other treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are ready and sterilized.
- Take and process dental X-rays and impressions as directed by the dentist.
- Provide patients with post-operative instructions and educate them on oral hygiene practices.
- Record patient medical and dental histories, update records, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Manage infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms according to practice protocols.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure that all necessary supplies are available and organized.
- Support front office operations, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and processing payments, as needed.
· Ensure patient comfort and provide compassionate care throughout their visit.
