Dental Hygienist Needed

Dental Hygienist – Part-Time (2 Day/Week)
Location: Rancho Bernardo
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about patient care and is seeking a long-term role in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Position Details:
Schedule: Two days per week – Thursday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) OR Wednesday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) AND Friday (8:00 AM-2:00 PM); two Fridays a month.
Future Opportunity: Potential to expand to three days per week as the practice grows
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments
Record patient vital signs and update dental records accurately
Assist the dentist during exams and procedures when necessary
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene and preventative care
Ensure proper sterilization and preparation of instruments
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and office protocols
Use Dentrix software to manage patient charts and scheduling
Provide care to a diverse patient base, including children and adults
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of California
Knowledge of dental anatomy, hygiene techniques, and patient care best practices
Experience in a dental office preferred
Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team-oriented with a high standard of professionalism
