Health & Wellness Dentistry is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a fast-paced dental practice that values professionalism, teamwork, efficiency, and excellent patient care.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a Dental Assistant who can confidently step into a busy clinical environment and work effectively with our dentists and clinical team.
Requirements:
Previous dental assisting experience required
Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Comfortable assisting dentists during a variety of procedures
Ability to take dental X-rays
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Professional appearance and communication
Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Must be able to multitask while maintaining excellent patient care
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during clinical procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked operatory
Prepare patients for treatment and provide chairside support
Assist with dental impressions, materials, and laboratory procedures as needed
Follow all infection-control and office safety protocols
Communicate effectively with doctors and the clinical team
Help ensure the office runs efficiently throughout the day
Provide a professional and positive experience for every patient

The ideal candidate is an experienced, dependable Dental Assistant who knows how to work in a busy office without needing constant supervision. You should be comfortable moving quickly, staying organized, anticipating the dentist's needs, and working as part of a team.
