As a full-time dental hygienist in our general practice, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional patient care. Our commitment to high-quality dentistry is paired with cutting-edge technology, which empowers our hygienists to excel in their roles. In this role, you will provide comprehensive hygiene services, including periodontal treatments, fluoride applications, oral cancer screenings, and patient education on optimal oral health practices. You will have the opportunity to utilize your skills in areas such as calculus removal, cavitron use, ultrasonic scaling, and digital x-rays, while also engaging in dental charting and treatment planning. We pride ourselves on individualized care, spending 30 minutes to an hour with each patient, ensuring their comfort and understanding of their dental health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough periodontal screenings and provide high-quality prophylaxis.
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including intraoral cameras and Carestream technology, to enhance patient education.
- Collaborate closely with your fellow team members to maintain a positive and effective workplace culture.
- Build long-lasting relationships with patients while encouraging them to take an active role in their oral health.
We offer competitive compensation at $42 per hour, alongside benefits such as in-office dental insurance, paid time off (PTO), and a Simple IRA plan. Enjoy a one-hour lunch break and ample employee parking.
