Dental Hygienist - Full Time or Part Time

A busy solo-doctor practice is seeking a full-time dental hygienist to join a high-performing, patient-focused team. This role is ideal for a well-presented professional with excellent communication skills, strong clinical judgment, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in patients’ lives. The right candidate will be reliable, punctual, cheerful, and highly organized, with the ability to multitask, stay on schedule, and work confidently with a wide range of personality types. A collaborative mindset is essential, especially when working closely with a co-hygienist and supporting the broader clinical team.

This position requires someone who is compassionate, confident, self-monitoring, and open to new ideas. In addition to performing hygiene procedures, the team member will assist others as needed, verify patient health histories and medications, clean and sterilize equipment, and provide clear education on oral health needs and recommended treatment. Strong patient communication and a teaching-oriented approach are important, as this role includes discussing treatment options and helping patients understand their home care and preventive needs.

Experience with Open Dental software and Sirona is preferred.

The schedule is:
Monday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM,
Tuesday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM,
Wednesday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM,
Thursday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM,

A 1-hour lunch break each day. You will typically see one patient at a time and spend about one hour with each patient. Parking is available on the road near the office building. PPE provided includes nitrile gloves, regular masks, scrub jackets, and onsite laundry.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited hygiene program, Colorado State Board certification, CPR certification, and experience with digital x-rays and local anesthesia administration. Periodontal therapy and treatment diagnostics experience are essential. Two or more years of experience is preferred, but not required.

Compensation is $50–$70 per hour, depending on experience and personal skills. Benefits include PTO/sick leave and a 401(k). This position is available immediately.
