Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) | Fort Worth, TX

About the Role
Fort Worth Dentist is a patient-centered dental practice in Fort Worth looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing team. You’ll work directly alongside our dentist to deliver exceptional clinical care in a supportive, professional environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist chairside during restorative, cosmetic, and general dental procedures
• Take and develop digital X-rays (FMX, BWX, periapicals, panoramic)
• Perform coronal polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealant placement per scope of practice
• Prepare and sterilize instruments; maintain operatory readiness and infection control protocols (OSHA/CDC)
• Record accurate clinical notes and treatment documentation in Open Dental
• Take impressions, pour models, and fabricate temporary restorations as directed
• Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene
• Support front desk team with scheduling, patient communication, and recall coordination as needed
Qualifications
• Active Texas RDA registration (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• 1+ years of dental assisting experience preferred; new graduates with externship experience considered
• Proficiency with digital X-rays and intraoral cameras
• Experience with Open Dental a plus
• Strong communication skills and a warm, patient-first chairside manner
• Reliable, organized, and a true team player
