Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Sugar Land, TXWe are seeking a full-time dental assistant to join a professional, patient-focused dental practice that provides general dentistry in a single-doctor setting. Our office works with PPO and private patients and is committed to delivering high-quality care in a comfortable, organized environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of dental assisting experience and a strong understanding of chairside support, patient preparation, sterilization, and maintaining a smooth clinical flow. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly and calm demeanor, and the ability to work efficiently with patients of all ages. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Responsibilities include assisting with a variety of general dental procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking and processing dental radiographs as directed, sterilizing instruments, maintaining infection control standards, and supporting the doctor and team with daily clinical tasks. Attention to detail, professionalism, and a team-oriented attitude are essential.
We provide the necessary personal protective equipment, including disposable gowns, face shields, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks, to support a safe and compliant work environment.
