Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Enhance Dental is a patient-centric family dental practice located in San Antonio, TX. We are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team full-time Tuesday-Friday. We utilize the latest dental technologies to better serve our patients and our team works hard to uphold the principles of trust, honesty, integrity, respect, and commitment. Schedule:
Monday- CLOSED
Tuesday-Thursday 7am-5pm
Friday- 7am -3pm
Rate: $20-$23/hr, plus daily bonus opportunities
Responsibilities:
*Welcome patients to the dental office
*Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
*Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
*Sterilize instruments according to regulations
*Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
*Undertake lab tasks as instructed
*Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
*Keep the operatories clean and well-stocked
*Schedule appointments
*Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
*Order dental supplies and keep track of dental supply inventory
Skills:
*Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
*Understanding of health & safety regulations
*Ability to perform regulated surgical and nonsurgical tasks
*Strong computer skills- Denticon experience is a plus!
*Excellent communication skills
*Attention to detail
*Well-organized and reliable
Requirements
*Active RDA license in the state of Texas
*Active CPR Certification
*2+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
*Bi-Lingual (Spanish) and Ortho experience is a plus!
*High school diploma
