DENTAL ASSISTANT

Our office is hiring two types of assistants: Hygiene Assistant and RDA

HYGIENE ASSISTANT: This role will solely be assisting a hygienist.
Requirements:
Active RDA license in the state of Texas & nitrous certified (if not currently certified, certification will be provided if needed).
Typical responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Preparing patients for treatment
Reviewing & signing consent forms
Assisting the dental hygienist in taking x-rays & intra-oral photos
Assisting in periodontal charting
Assisting in exams with the doctors
Scheduling appointments
Performing iTero scans
Educating patients
Sterilizing treatment rooms & instruments
Training will be provided in categories above as needed

REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT: This role will be solely assisting providers in the practice.
Requirements:
Active RDA license in the state of Texas
Nitrous certified (if not currently certified, certification will be provided as needed)
Successful completion of the TDA Human Trafficking Course (if you have not taken the course, certification opportunities will be provided as needed)
Employment History: 2+ years experience
Typical responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Preparing patients for treatment
Reviewing and signing consent forms
Assisting in 4 handed dentistry during dental procedures
Sterilizing treatment rooms & instruments
Educating patients
Taking x-rays & intra-oral photos
Performing iTero scans
Working with CEREC technology
Keeping patient records
Entering prescribed treatment
Scheduling appointments
Training will be provided in the categories above as needed.

BOTH JOBS:
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with an hour lunch daily.
Pay: $18-22/hour
