Join Our Growing Pedodontics Practice as a Dental Hygienist
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our state-of-the-art dental office, specializing in pediatric care. Our friendly and clean environment is designed to provide exceptional care for our young patients while ensuring a positive and supportive atmosphere for our team members.
As a part-time Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing quality care to children. With a patient-centered approach, you'll leverage your skills in chair side assistance, fluoride treatments, and patient education to create a comfortable experience for our young patients and their families. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in pediatric hygiene, with experience in administering local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and other essential skills, including conducting X-rays and applying sealants and silver diamine fluoride (SDF).
Our Dental Hygienist will typically spend 30 minutes with each patient while working with one or two patients at a time. As part of our commitment to health and safety, you will be provided with personal protective equipment, including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, and a variety of masks to ensure a safe working environment for both staff and patients.
We value work-life balance, offering a one-hour lunch break during the school calendar and a 30-minute break in the summer. As our practice grows, we are committed to providing our hygienist with a supportive and flexible work environment.
In addition to a competitive hourly rate of $52-60, this position includes benefits such as paid time off (PTO) and sick leave. We seek candidates with 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene, who are also bilingual and have strong communication skills to effectively educate and engage with our young patients and their parents.
