Qualifications
* Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) Certification
* Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Certification
* Current CPR Certification
* Ability to work flexible hours
Responsibilities
As an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, your daily responsibilities may include:
* Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all equipment and instruments are ready for patient care
* Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards
* Assisting providers during procedures by anticipating needs and providing instruments
* Taking and processing dental X-rays
* Processing laboratory work and coordinating with dental labs
* Greeting patients and helping create a welcoming experience
* Scheduling appointments and assisting with patient flow
* Educating patients on recommended treatment plans and post-operative care
* Updating and maintaining accurate patient records
* Assisting with administrative and operational tasks to support the practice
