Pediatric/Orthodontic Assistant

Pay: $22.01 - $26.31 per hour

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our growing team! This is a full-time role supporting both Pediatric Dentistry (Mon–Wed) and Orthodontics (Thursdays).

Primary location: Englewood

Thursday travel required: Assistant will rotate between two satellite locations depending on the schedule.

Position Overview

Schedule

Monday–Wednesday: Pediatric Dental Assistant
Thursday: Orthodontic Assistant (rotating between three offices)
Pediatric Dental Assistant Duties (Mon–Wed):

Greet and prepare pediatric patients for treatment in a friendly, calming manner
Assist dentist during exams, cleanings, sealants, fillings, and other pediatric procedures
Take and develop digital X-rays
Chart procedures and maintain accurate patient records
Sterilize and prepare instruments
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
Maintain infection control protocols and a clean, kid-friendly environment
Orthodontic Assistant Duties (Thursdays):

Assist orthodontist with bonding, banding, wire changes, impressions, and adjustments.
Take Digital X-Rays, scan, and intraoral photographs
Document treatment progress and update patient charts accurately
Educate patients on oral hygiene with braces and appliance care
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment
Ensure patient comfort and answer treatment-related questions
