Are you a dedicated and passionate dental hygienist seeking a rewarding part-time opportunity? We invite you to become an essential part of our expanding dental practice, where we prioritize patient care and exceptional service. Our office specializes in general dentistry and PPO services, catering to a diverse range of patients with varying needs.
As a dental hygienist, you will play a crucial role in our practice by providing high-quality preventive care and education to our patients. Your responsibilities will include performing comprehensive dental cleanings, conducting oral examinations, taking radiographs, and applying preventive treatments. You'll also be responsible for educating patients on oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and how to maintain optimal dental health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and prepare patients for dental procedures
- Assess oral health, documenting findings and recording patient histories
- Develop individualized dental hygiene care plans in collaboration with the dental team
- Utilize advanced dental technologies and techniques to ensure the best patient care
- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols and infection control measures
Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygienist license in the state of practice
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient education
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Comfortable with technology and digital record-keeping
Our part-time schedule allows for flexibility while providing you with the opportunity to balance your professional and personal life. The position includes a dedicated lunch break from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, ensuring you have the time to recharge during your workday.
We offer competitive compensation at a daily rate of $400, recognizing the value and expertise that each member of our team contributes to our patients' health and happiness.
