RDH-Hygienist

Our office is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist. Cortland Smiles is a locally owned dental practice committed to improving oral health in the Bucktown community of Chicago. Led by Dr. Ruchi Nagpal, DDS we offer comprehensive preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dental care, including Invisalign and aesthetic/therapeutic Botox®. Our patient centered approach focuses on understanding individual needs and providing long-term dental health solutions. Ideal candidates to be considered must have a friendly, enthusiastic approach and excellent interpersonal skills to provide gentle yet skilled dental care. Experience with Dentrix Ascend, digital imaging/scanning, and N20 delivery is preferred but not necessary.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

· Current Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of IL

· Current CPR/BLS certification

· Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules

· Conduct oral health assessments and collaborate with the team to educate patients on oral hygiene practices

· Assist in diagnosis and perform periodontal probing, charting, prophylaxis, as well as scaling and root planning

· Digital imaging and xrays

· Setting up recall appointments

· Sterilization of instruments

· Assist other team members as needed
