PT/FT Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate dental hygienist to join a modern, patient-focused dental practice specializing in general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional who values high-quality care, strong patient relationships, and a collaborative team environment. The position is available because our current dental hygienist is retiring, creating an excellent opportunity to step into an established and respected role.

Our practice is a single-doctor office serving primarily PPO and private-pay patients. Since opening in 2018, we have built a reputation for delivering personalized, upscale care with an emphasis on preventive dentistry, patient education, and exceptional service. Team members enjoy a professional environment where they can provide comprehensive treatment and continue developing their clinical skills.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and a strong foundation in preventive hygiene services, including prophylaxis, periodontal charting, oral health education, and patient communication. You will see one patient at a time and typically spend 60 minutes with each appointment, allowing you to focus on delivering thoughtful, thorough care. A 30- or 60-minute lunch break is provided.

We are especially looking for a hygienist who is enthusiastic about patient education and preventive care. Bonus programs are available for hygienists who actively educate patients about Arestin and VELscope. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys helping patients understand their oral health needs and supporting long-term treatment success.

Responsibilities include:
- Performing dental hygiene procedures with precision and care
- Reviewing medical and dental histories
- Taking and interpreting radiographs as permitted
- Educating patients on home care and preventive strategies
- Identifying periodontal concerns and communicating findings to the doctor
- Supporting a welcoming, efficient, and patient-centered experience
