Favia Family Dental is looking for a motivated, compassionate, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our practice full-time. If you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care, educating patients on oral health, and helping create a welcoming dental experience, we'd love to meet you!
Schedule
Monday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Responsibilities
As a Dental Hygienist at Favia Family Dental, you will:
Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, and fluoride treatments
Take and review digital radiographs
Conduct periodontal assessments and charting
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
Assist the dentist in diagnosis and treatment planning
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Follow infection control protocols and OSHA standards
Build strong patient relationships that promote long-term oral health
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth and exceptional patient experience
Qualifications
Active Illinois Dental Hygienist License
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Strong communication and patient education skills
Experience with digital radiography and dental software preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude and commitment to outstanding patient care
