Registered Dental Assistant

Our well-established pediatric and orthodontic practice is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Dental Assistant to join us. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to support our hygienists and assist with both pediatric and orthodontic procedures, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for our young patients. Key Responsibilities:
Take and process X-rays
Provide chairside assistance during procedures
Accurately chart patient information
Facilitate patient flow
Prepare and break down treatment rooms
Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean environment
Assist with the placement and removal of orthodontic appliances
Take full patient records, including panoramic X-rays, cephalometric X-rays, and photos
Offer oral hygiene and diet instructions, including performing plaque scores
Prepare and arrange tools and instruments for scheduled procedures
Perform 3D scanning with the Itero scanner

Qualifications:
X-Ray and nitrous oxide certification is required
Experience working with children, including those who may be anxious, uncooperative, or have special needs, is highly preferred
A team-oriented, positive attitude with a passion for patient care

Schedule:
Monday: 9 AM - 5 PM
Tuesday: 1pm-6pm during the school year, 9am-5pm in the summer
Thursday: 1 PM - 7 PM
Friday: 9am-5pm during the school year, 9am-3pm in the summer
One Saturday per month: 9 AM - 2 PM (except July & August)
