Dental Hygienist – Jackson Heights, Queens (Jackson Heights)

LOCATION

Jackson Heights, NY

Established general dental office in Jackson Heights is seeking a motivated and friendly Dental Hygienist to join our team. Experienced hygienists are preferred, but strong new graduates are welcome to apply.

We are looking for a professional who is organized, reliable, outgoing, and a great team player, with a positive attitude and strong patient communication skills.

Responsibilities:
• Perform dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, periodontal maintenance, and sealants
• Take digital X-rays
• Assist with initial and periodontal charting/examinations
• Develop and maintain patient recare schedules
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Provide individualized care based on each patient’s needs

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in New York State
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
