Part-time Pediatric Hygienist 9 - 17 hours per week

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable dental hygienist to join our small pediatric dental team. Our practice has been serving families since 1998 and includes two dentists and 2 to 3 hygienists covering five days a week. We are known for our warm, friendly atmosphere, supportive associates, and fun ocean-themed office with cheerful underwater murals and fish-inspired décor. Our patient base is diverse, and we especially value someone who is bilingual and comfortable helping parents communicate with ease.

This is a part-time opportunity in a practice that provides care across Pedodontics, Medicaid, PPO, and Private insurance plans. We are currently looking to cover Wednesdays and Fridays, with the option to add another full day if a hygienist would like a 17-hour schedule. Our hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. There are no nights or weekends. Full-day shifts include a 1-hour lunch break.

The ideal candidate will have strong pediatric hygiene skills and a gentle, patient-centered approach when working with children. Experience with special needs children is especially important. You will see one patient at a time and typically spend 30–40 minutes with each child, depending on the level of care needed. We are also happy to train new graduates who are eager to learn and grow in a pediatric setting.

Our office is designed to support both patient comfort and team safety. We provide nitrile gloves, regular masks, air purifiers, and a filtered dental water system. Onsite parking is available for staff convenience.
