Dental Assistant

Our practice is growing and we are expanding our team!

We are looking for a full time dental assistant that can work 5 days a week. Monday - Thursday (9am-5pm) and Fridays (9am-1pm).

We are looking for a personable, friendly, gentle and reliable dental assistant to join our team. Candidates must have excellent clinical and communication skills, and be self-motivated. Candidates must be familiar with using digital x-rays, intra-oral camera, and Dentrix software.

Requirements of a Registered Dental Assistant include but are not limited to:

- At least 1 year dental experience preferred
- RDA certificate up to date
- X-ray certification
- Nitrous certification
- Experience with Dentrix preferred
- 4-handed dentistry
- Set up and breakdown of the rooms.
-Take radiographs
- Taking impressions and pouring models and trimming bleaching trays
- Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on the appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
