Job Opportunity: Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our General Dentistry Office, where patient care is our utmost priority. Established since the 1960s, our practice has a rich history of serving a diverse patient population ranging from ages 2 to 99. Our environment is slow-paced, offering the perfect opportunity for a dental professional who values quality over quantity while maintaining a steady workflow.

As a vital member of our team, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality dental care. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive oral hygiene assessments, implementing antibiotic therapy, conducting periodontal screenings, and performing prophylaxis treatments. You will engage in patient education, guiding individuals toward better oral health practices and reinforcing the importance of regular dental visits.

In addition to direct patient care, managing patient records, and utilizing digital X-ray technology to improve diagnostic accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Open Dental will be beneficial for maintaining organized records and scheduling appointments efficiently.

We maintain a strong commitment to safety and have provided our team with the necessary personal protective equipment, including disposable gowns, goggles, latex and nitrile gloves, and regular masks, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and patients.

Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills and be CPR certified to effectively communicate and educate patients. Our office typically allocates 60 minutes per patient, allowing for thorough examinations and treatments, while providing a supportive and responsive atmosphere.
