🦷 Floater – Front Office Coordinator & Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

This unique role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and has strong experience as both a Patient Coordinator and Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA). Your primary focus will be supporting the front office, with dental assisting responsibilities as needed.

🌟 What We’re Looking For
* 3+ years of dental front-office experience as a Patient Coordinator
* Financial Coordinator experience is a PLUS
* Experience with Open Dental software
* CDA & EDDA Certifications – REQUIRED
* Current CPR Certification
* Positive, professional, and patient-focused attitude
* Team-oriented, driven, and hardworking
* Comfortable transitioning between front-office and clinical responsibilities

💻 Patient Coordinator – Primary Focus
You’ll help keep the front office running smoothly by:
* Answering incoming calls and assisting patients
* Checking patients in and out
* Collecting and processing patient payments
* Submitting insurance claims
* Confirming and verifying appointments
* Completing insurance verification as needed
* Providing an excellent patient experience from check-in to check-out

🪥 Dental Assisting – As Needed
When clinical support is needed, you’ll be ready to jump in by:
* Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments
* Ensuring providers have the necessary equipment and materials
* Assisting chairside and anticipating provider needs
* Packing cord, pouring impressions, and assisting with iTero
* Taking and processing patient X-rays
* Processing lab work
* Reviewing recommended treatment and post-op care with patients
* Updating and maintaining accurate patient health records
