Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental assessments and cleanings, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care.

- Administer preventive treatments and apply sealants or fluoride as needed.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate treatment records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate closely with the dentist and supporting staff to optimize patient experiences and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- A degree from an accredited dental hygiene program is required. New graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Valid state dental hygiene license and current CPR certification.
- Proficient in digital radiography and dental software applications, with an understanding of infection control protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient education and comfort.
- Ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

Job description
**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help provide efficient and quality dental care to patients. New Grads welcome!
**Duties:**
- Prepare patients for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Maintain accurate patient records
**Requirements:**
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-Ray certification
- Knowledge of infection control protocols
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or CAD
- Understanding of medical imaging techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems
