Full-Time Dental Hygienist Opportunity

A dynamic dental practice specializing in pedodontics and periodontics is seeking a dedicated, patient-focused dental hygienist to join our clinical team. This full-time role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about oral health, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and is committed to delivering high-quality preventive and therapeutic care across a diverse patient population.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive hygiene services that support the ongoing oral health of children, adolescents, and adult periodontal patients. Responsibilities include performing prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, oral health assessments, and periodontal charting. You will also take and process diagnostic radiographs, document clinical findings accurately, and assist in the development and reinforcement of individualized home care plans. A strong emphasis is placed on patient education, gentle communication, and building trust with younger patients, anxious patients, and those requiring ongoing periodontal support.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a thorough understanding of preventive dentistry, and the ability to tailor care to each patient’s needs. Experience working in pediatric and periodontal settings is highly valued, as is a calm, compassionate approach and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, parents, and the broader dental team. You should be comfortable collaborating with dentists and support staff to ensure efficient, high-quality care and a positive patient experience.

Key responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, following infection control and sterilization protocols, supporting efficient clinical workflow, and contributing to a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment. Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to continuing education are important for success in this position.

Candidates should possess the appropriate licensure and certifications required for dental hygiene practice. A college-level education in dental hygiene is expected, along with a solid foundation in anatomy, periodontology, radiography, preventive care, and patient communication. Prior experience in a fast-paced dental office is preferred.

We offer a supportive team culture, opportunities to expand clinical expertise, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient health every day. If you are an enthusiastic dental hygienist looking for a rewarding full-time opportunity in a specialized practice, we encourage you to consider this position.

I know what it’s like to work for a bad practice. I feel like I wasted 4 years of my professional life. A classmate told me about Cloud Dentistry. In the past 8 months, I have worked in numerous practices, had better instrumentation to practice my craft, and have felt a great sense of respect. It’s amazing to feel free again while earning more money.

I really like the rating system for both the provider and the office so that it provides a brief snapshot of the level of service provided.
