Smiles of Orange is a growing Holistic • Functional • Airway-Centered dental practice looking for an experienced Associate Dentist to join our team 2-3 days per week. We are a fee-for-service practice focused on providing exceptional, comprehensive dentistry, and we are looking for a dentist with 5+ years of clinical experience who takes pride in their clinical skills, has excellent attention to detail, and is committed to providing a high level of care to every patient. The ideal candidate is confident, compassionate, and interested in expanding their knowledge of biological and holistic approaches to oral health.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist who wants to practice in a more progressive environment and learn how oral health connects with the patient's overall health, airway, sleep, breathing, and function.
The associate will initially receive training and support to become familiar with our practice, systems, clinical philosophy, and approach to patient care. Once we feel confident in their clinical abilities and they feel comfortable practicing independently, they will transition to being the sole doctor in the office on their scheduled days. We are looking for someone who is clinically confident, responsible, and comfortable making treatment decisions independently while having the support of an experienced dental team.
You do not need to have extensive holistic dentistry experience. We are willing to train the right dentist who is genuinely curious and open to learning.
What We're Looking For
Required:
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
Active California dental license
5+ years of clinical experience
Strong general dentistry skills
Comfortable practicing independently
Comfortable being the sole doctor in the office
Excellent communication and patient relationship skills
Strong clinical judgment and ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Team-oriented and professional
Open-minded and genuinely interested in learning holistic/biological dentistry
