Looking for a practice where your skills are valued and your work matters? We’re a private, doctor-owned practice that has served the Wyoming Valley for 20 years. We’re looking for a dependable, caring Dental Assistant or EFDA to join our small team full-time.
Dr. Smith is a Wyoming Valley native who holds a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor earned through years of advanced continuing education. He continues to train in digital dentistry today. Learning matters here. We especially welcome PA-certified EFDAs. You took the initiative to further your education, and we want to keep building on that by training you in the digital workflow that is shaping the future of our profession.
We’re restorative-focused and patient-first. We aren’t insurance-driven, we don’t rush appointments, and we do the kind of dentistry we’d want for our own families.
What you’ll do
• Assist chairside with restorative, crown and bridge, and cosmetic procedures
• Capture digital impressions with our 3Shape Trios intraoral scanner
• Take radiographs, including panoramic and cone beam (CBCT)
• Take clinical photography for treatment planning, records, and lab communication
• Help gather and organize the diagnostic data behind comprehensive treatment plans
• Handle operatory setup, sterilization, and infection control
• Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their care
Where you’ll grow
• Hands-on training in digital workflow: scanning, imaging, photography, and digital records
• Continuing education to keep you current with advances in dentistry

What we’re looking for
• PA EFDA certification, or dental assisting experience
• PA radiology certification [required]
• Curiosity about technology and a desire to keep learning
• Reliability, attention to detail, and genuine warmth with patients
What we offer
• $2,500 signing bonus
• $23–$28/hour, based on experience and certification
• Bonus program: our team members consistently earn an additional $10,000 per year in bonus pay
• 4-day schedule, Fridays off, no evenings or weekends
– Monday 9–5 | Tuesday 8–5 | Wednesday 8–2 | Thursday 9–5
