Part Time Hygienist Position

We are seeking an experienced dental hygienist to join our team in a full-time role within a modern, fully digital general and PPO practice. This opportunity is available due to the retirement of the current hygienist, creating a smooth transition into an established patient schedule and a supportive clinical environment.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 1 year of experience and confidence in delivering high-quality preventive and periodontal care. Core responsibilities include prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal and gingivitis screening, gingivitis treatment, patient education, patient recall management, patient records documentation, and treatment planning. Experience with pediatric hygiene, pit and fissure sealants, chlorhexidine use, Arrestin placement, and teeth whitening procedures is highly valued. Strong clinical skills in Cavitron use, ultrasonic scaling, impressions, vital signs monitoring, and CPR certification are also required.

This role requires comfort working one patient at a time, with approximately 1 hour scheduled per patient. The pace allows for thorough, personalized care and meaningful patient education. You will work alongside a dentist in a fully digital office using Dentrix Ascend Dental Software, DEXIS imaging, intraoral camera technology, and digital X-rays. Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend is preferred and will help ensure efficient, accurate charting and coordination of care.

We are looking for a professional who can provide exceptional preventive services while supporting patient comfort and trust. The right candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of clinical care in a general dentistry setting.

The office provides goggles, N95 masks, and regular masks to support daily safety and infection control. A 1-hour lunch break is provided during the workday. Parking is available in the common building parking area for convenient access to the office.

Compensation is above market rate. Please note that no part-time benefits are offered for this position.
