Dental hygienist

We are a state-of-the-art dental practice in the heart of Palo Alto seeking a dedicated dental hygienist to join our full-time clinical team. Our office provides comprehensive general dentistry in a modern, patient-centered environment where quality care, professionalism, and teamwork are valued every day.

In this role, you will work closely with dentists and clinical staff to support the oral health of a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and committed to delivering exceptional preventive care and patient education. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced general dentistry setting while maintaining a calm, organized, and compassionate approach.

Key responsibilities include performing thorough dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing as appropriate, and taking diagnostic radiographs when indicated. You will also assess oral health conditions, document clinical findings accurately, review medical and dental histories, and educate patients on effective home care techniques, preventive strategies, and periodontal health. Collaboration with the dental team to support treatment planning and continuity of care is an important part of this position.

We are looking for someone with a college-level education in dental hygiene and current licensure or eligibility to practice in accordance with state requirements. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to infection control standards are essential. Experience in general dentistry is preferred, but motivated candidates with a strong clinical foundation and a desire to grow in a professional environment are encouraged to apply.
