Front Desk Administrator: Financial Coordinator

We are a privately owned oral surgery practice looking for a Front Desk Administrator: Financial Coordinator who will work with our Financial Biller. We have recently opened our new office in Fulshear and growing!

Duties:
-Scan EOB's to Biller, total the checks
-Work closely with Biller to ensure they have the notes / info they need to process claim
-Review EOB's for refunds, balances (System in place)
-Process refunds, balances in timely manner
-Help minimize balances using our Insurance Benefits Verifications system
-Work with our wonderful Receptionist to coordinate care (answer phones, enter data, prepare charts, address emails etc)
-Update insurance fee schedules and insurance liason for credentialing, etc, as needed
-Insurance Verifications (currently being done by team member but help is appreciated).
-If you are interested in Treatment Plan Presentation duties, please let us know (this is currently being done by team members).
-There is room to grow in this position.

Required skills:
-Strong adding and subtracting knowledge
-Ability to read EOB's and spot downcoding, need for appeal, etc which Biller will handle
-Ability to ensure patient ledger is clean at the end of the day (all procedures actually done are entered)

Serious candidates should be able to drive to our Fulshear and Sugar Land office, business hours start at 7:40am. This is important, because we like the flow to be smooth and safe for our patients.

This is a Full Time position, with benefits. Compensation $20-25/hr based on experience.
