Dental Assistant (Minimum 2 Years Experience Required)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant with at least 2 years of clinical experience to join our growing dental team. Our practice focuses on comprehensive dentistry including restorative, cosmetic, orthodontic, and implant procedures. We are looking for a dependable team player who takes pride in delivering excellent patient care and thrives in a high-performance environment.

Position Overview
The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the doctor, ensuring smooth clinical flow, and delivering an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, and comfortable assisting in a variety of procedures.

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures including:
Restorative dentistry
Crowns and bridges
Dental implants
Invisalign and orthodontics
Extractions and surgical procedures
Prepare and break down operatories
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
Take digital X-rays
Take impressions and scans (iTero or similar scanners preferred)
Maintain accurate patient records and charting
Educate patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
Ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience
X-ray certification (as required by state)
Knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
Experience with digital X-rays and practice management software
Experience assisting with implants and surgical procedures preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Professional, positive attitude and strong work ethic
