Job Opportunity: Dental Hygienist at a Growing Private Practice

We are a small, dynamic, and single-doctor dental practice committed to providing high-quality care to our patients. As we expand our services, we are looking for a dedicated and passionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients through comprehensive dental care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Conducting thorough dental cleanings and assessments for individual patients.
- Utilizing advanced technology such as digital radiography/X-rays, intraoral cameras, iTero, and Schick during patient exams and procedures.
- Providing patient education on oral hygiene practices to promote optimal dental health.
- Administering local anesthesia, including infiltration and block techniques.
- Documenting patient records accurately in Eaglesoft.

You will work with patients one-on-one, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience. New patients are scheduled for 2 hours, while regular prophylaxis appointments last 1 hour, and scaling and root planing sessions typically take 1.5-2 hours.

Qualifications:

- A degree in dental hygiene from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience is not required, making this an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those transitioning in their careers.
- Proficiency in the use of practice management software (Eaglesoft) and dental technologies.
