Part Time Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join a modern, multi-doctor, private general dentistry practice dedicated to delivering comprehensive care for patients of all ages. Our team provides general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry in a state-of-the-art setting, using advanced materials and a patient-centered approach that helps make high-quality dental care accessible to individuals and families. This is a full-time position for a detail-oriented professional who values clinical excellence, teamwork, and outstanding patient care.

In this role, you will see one patient at a time and typically spend about one hour with each patient, allowing you the time needed to provide thorough, personalized care. Responsibilities include prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, calculus removal, ultrasonic scaling, Cavitron use, air polishing, fluoride treatment, gingivitis screening, periodontal screening, periodontal treatment, dental charting, treatment planning, patient education, patient recall, and patient records management. You will also perform sterile procedures, assist with special needs patients, and support nitrous oxide administration and nitrous oxide monitoring as appropriate. Experience with intraoral camera use, digital X-rays, data entry, and Open Dental is important for success in this position.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience and a strong commitment to high-quality preventive and periodontal care. A college-level education is expected, along with excellent communication skills and a professional, organized, and patient-focused approach. You should be comfortable working within a collaborative clinical environment and confident in supporting a wide range of patient needs.

This position offers a reliable part-time schedule. Days available are Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday form 8 to 6 with an hour for lunch. Thursday from 8 to 2 and Friday from 8 to 12. Pick any combination of days you would like to work. Long term contracts are available for Temps as well. Parking is available on the side of the building for added convenience.
