enthusiastic and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team and play a key role in delivering
outstanding dental care.
Position Overview: As a Dental Hygienist at PNDA, you will be responsible for providing
high-quality preventative dental care, including but not limited to cleanings, exams, and patient
education. You will work closely with our dentist and other team members to ensure our patients
receive top-notch treatment and feel comfortable throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
● Perform thorough preventive and periodontal dental care
● Obtain diagnostic quality dental X-rays and intra oral photos
● Assess and plan and treat patients with appropriate dental care plans alongside
dentist and other clinical staff
● Conduct relevant medical history,office policy and consent for treatment reviews with
patients
● Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
● Provide fluoride treatments and sealants
● Accurate and timely reporting of patient records and documentation
● Assist the dental team in implementing treatment plans
● Sterilize instruments and ensure a clean, safe working environment
● Stay current on the latest dental technologies and best practices
● Communicate findings to the Dentist
Qualifications:
● Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene
● Valid current Dental Hygienist License in North Carolina
● Local anesthesia license preferred
● Current CPR certification
● High degree of clinical skills and strong patient communication skills with the ability to
respond professionally

● Minimum 1 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist (new grads welcome to apply!)
● Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and equipment
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Compassionate and patient-centered attitude
● Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
● Proficient in using dental software (Open Dental) and digital X-ray systems
