Looking for Dental Hygienist for Wednesdays only.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental professional to join a busy general dental office in New Milford, CT. This part time opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys providing high-quality preventive care in a supportive, patient-focused environment. The practice serves a broad range of general dentistry needs and values efficiency, professionalism, and a strong commitment to oral health education.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive hygiene services, including prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, scaling and root planing as appropriate, oral health instruction, and documentation of findings. You will work with one patient at a time and typically spend one hour with each patient, allowing you to focus on individualized care and thorough treatment. The schedule includes a one-hour unpaid lunch break, and office parking is available for convenience.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of clinical experience in a dental setting and be comfortable working in a general practice environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build trust with patients are essential. Familiarity with Dentrix and Vix win is required, as these systems are used for charting, imaging, and workflow support. A college-level education in dental hygiene or a related field is expected.

This position offers an hourly rate of $59 for a full-time schedule. Team members are provided with personal protective equipment, including disposable gowns, goggles, nitrile gloves, and regular masks, to support a safe and professional workplace. The office is committed to maintaining high standards of infection control and creating an efficient, organized environment for both staff and patients.
