We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused dental hygiene professional to join our growing, family-owned private practice. Our office has served families for more than 20 years and is built on long-term relationships, clinical excellence, and a warm, team-centered culture. Many of our team members have stayed with us for 5, 10, and even 20+ years, which reflects the stability, respect, and growth opportunities we provide.
This is a full-time opportunity in a multi-doctor environment that blends general and family dentistry with cosmetic, implant, and sedation cases. You will work in a modern, well-equipped setting featuring digital x-rays, 3D imaging, intraoral scanning, CEREC technology, and advanced clinical tools that support efficient, high-quality care.
In this role, you will see one patient at a time and typically spend 60–90 minutes per visit, allowing you to focus on comfort, education, and thorough care. Responsibilities include performing cleanings, scaling and root planing, periodontal assessments, fluoride applications, sealants, oral cancer screenings, and patient education. You will also take x-rays, scans, and impressions; maintain accurate clinical documentation; track hygiene and patient statistics; and collaborate with doctors on treatment planning for periodontal needs.
The ideal candidate has a positive, professional, and drama-free attitude, strong communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail. A valid license to practice is required, along with CPR and AED certification, infection control knowledge, and prior dental office experience. Laser certification is required. Dentrix experience is a plus. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with patients of all ages, including special needs patients, and who takes pride in helping people feel relaxed and cared for during every visit.
Preferred experience includes 1+ years in hygiene, with skills such as calculus removal, ultrasonic scaling, periodontal therapy, prophylaxis, nitrous oxide monitoring, local anesthesia support, oral hygiene instruction, and patient recall management. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
We offer a supportive workplace with a one-hour lunch break, a collaborative clinical team, and opportunities for ongoing training and professional growth. Compensation starts at $65/hour, and benefits include 401(k), 401(k) matching, health insurance, paid time off, employee discount, professional development assistance, and a referral program.
If you value strong patient relationships, clinical excellence, and a long-term home, this may be the right fit for you.
