Join Our Growing Dental Team as a Part-Time Dental Hygienist!

Are you an experienced and compassionate dental hygienist looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive dental office? We invite you to consider joining our small, modern practice in Burlington, where we provide a wide range of dental services from routine hygiene to complex procedures, all while utilizing the latest technology and equipment.

As a part-time dental hygienist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Our office prioritizes patient education and best practices, ensuring our patients leave with the knowledge needed to maintain their oral health. You will be working one-on-one with patients, typically conducting thorough hygiene appointments that last one hour. For those interested, there is an option for double booking with assistance, offering flexibility in your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive oral examinations, including periodontal screenings and oral cancer screenings.
- Provide treatments such as scaling and root planing, prophylaxis, and fluoride applications.
- Manage antibiotic therapy, Arestin therapy, and the placement of antimicrobial agents.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and schedules using Eaglesoft software.
- Collaborate with our team to create treatment plans and ensure a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental hygiene role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering the best patient care.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, as we cater to a diverse patient population.
- CPR certification is required.
- Familiarity with digital radiography, intraoral cameras, and other modern dental technologies.

This is a permanent position offering 2 days per week, with the possibility of extending hours as our patient schedule grows.
