You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We are a team in which communication is key and making everything in the office run as smooth as possible.

Responsibilities
Welcome patients in the dental office
Reviewing the patient chart and health history prior to the doctor arrival and reconfirming the patient's chief concern
Prepare patients for treatments/checkups
Select/Setup instruments, equipment, and material needed
Assisting chair-side
Monitoring the patient's physical and emotional well-being during the entire visit
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Maintain safety of patients and other staff members
Taking records, impressions, and x-rays
Using computers to update electronic patient records
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide Oral Hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room and lab clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years with experience as dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Communication/people skills
Skills
Knowledgeable and skilled in digital radiographs
Attention to detail

Reliable
Great/Positive attitude
Bilingual preferred
