Advanced Dental Arts is a special, privately owned practice in Somerset, NJ, where patients are known by name, appointments are never treated like an assembly line, and team members have the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships.

We’re looking for a warm, dependable Registered Dental Hygienist who takes pride in providing thoughtful, individualized care. Adult prophys are scheduled for a full 60 minutes, with additional time provided for scaling and root planing based on clinical needs. Patients are seen one at a time, with no double-booked hygiene.

You’ll have the time and clinical autonomy to educate patients, complete thorough documentation, and deliver the level of care you were trained to provide.

We’re looking for someone who has:

An active New Jersey dental hygiene license
Current CPR certification
A warm, professional chairside manner
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
Confidence with prophylaxis, periodontal charting, scaling and root planing, digital radiographs and patient education
Accurate documentation and excellent communication skills
A dependable, positive and team-oriented attitude

Experience with Dentrix, Carestream, intraoral cameras, iTero, local anesthesia and whitening procedures is helpful but not required. One to two years of experience is preferred, although motivated new graduates with the right personality and approach to patient care are encouraged to apply.

We are currently seeking one full day per week or two half days per week, with meaningful room for the position to grow over time.
