Full time Dental Assistant

Join our dedicated dental team at a thriving general and private practice, where patient care and staff development are our top priorities. We are seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to provide exceptional support in a friendly and engaging environment.

As a vital member of our practice, you will collaborate with our skilled team to deliver top-notch dental treatments, manage patient appointments, and ensure meticulous sterilization of instruments. Your hands-on experience with chairside assisting, infection control, and patient education will contribute to a positive experience for our diverse patient base, which includes both English and Spanish speakers.

Our office operates Monday through Friday, 7:30-12:30 and 2-5 with a 7:15 morning huddle and 12:30-1 flex time to catch up on charts and supplies. We work one Friday/month 7:30-12:30. Ideal candidates will have completed dental assisting school or possess relevant chairside experience, along with proficiency in necessary skills such as alginate impressions, crowns preparation, and dental charting (Dentrix). We are open to hosting a internship for dental assisting school requirements. i Smile kck is a general dental practice, owned by Dr DeeAnn Behrens for 30 years now. We are proud to serve the Kansas City Kansas and surrounding communities. Our staff speaks Spanish and English. We work Mon-Th seeing patients 7:30-12:30 and 2-5. We start our mornings in a team meeting every morning at 7:15 and have "flex time" 12:30-1 everyday to catch up on charts and supplies. We have one dentist, 2 front desk staff, 2 FT hygienists and 2 FT dental assistants. We work about 1 Friday (7:30-12:30) per month.
