Part-time Hygienist

We are a well-established private dental practice serving a small-town community with a strong emphasis on patient relationships, quality care, and a welcoming team environment. As a general, single-doctor practice, we care for a diverse mix of patients ranging from children to older adults, and we take pride in providing thoughtful, individualized treatment in a professional setting.

This part-time position is a great opportunity for a licensed dental hygienist who values consistency, collaboration, and working in a practice where patients are known and valued. Our team currently includes one doctor, three part-time hygienists, two dental assistants, and two front desk team members. We are expanding and need another skilled hygienist to help support our growing patient base.

In this role, you will work one patient at a time and spend approximately 30 to 90 minutes with each patient, depending on the type of care needed. You will perform routine hygiene services, support preventive oral health, provide education to patients, and help maintain a positive and comfortable experience for everyone who visits our office. Because building long-term patient relationships is central to how we practice, strong communication skills and a caring approach are especially important.

The schedule is designed to support a healthy work rhythm and includes two days per week with a one-hour lunch break. Office hours are Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The office is closed on Wednesday. You can choose to work Monday & Tuesday, or Tuesday & Thursday.

We provide appropriate personal protective equipment to support your safety and comfort, including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex gloves, nitrile gloves, and regular masks.

The ideal candidate must hold a current dental hygiene license. No additional experience is required beyond your license. We offer competitive pay at $48–$50 per hour for the right professional who is ready to contribute to a growing, patient-centered practice.
