Dental Hyginist - Full/Part Tume - Evanston

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate dental hygienist to join an established, friendly, comprehensive dental practice. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of dental care in a comfortable, compassionate, and friendly atmosphere. This full-time role is ideal for a professional who values patient-centered care, strong communication, and collaboration with a dedicated dental team.

In this position, you will provide thorough preventive and periodontal care while helping patients feel informed, at ease, and confident in their oral health. Responsibilities include performing cleanings, periodontal maintenance, new patient assessments, scaling and root planing, oral health education, and charting findings accurately and efficiently. You will work with patients in a one-at-a-time care model, allowing you to focus on quality treatment and meaningful clinical interaction. Typical appointment times are 60 minutes for prophy, 90 minutes for new patient visits, and 90 minutes for 2-quad SRP.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a practice that serves a broad patient base, including General and Orthodontic care, within a single-doctor setting that accepts PPO and private patients. A college-level education in dental hygiene, along with current licensure and a strong commitment to professional standards, is expected. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, gentle, dependable, and able to build trust with patients of all ages.

We value safety and provide the necessary personal protective equipment, including disposable gowns, face shields, nitrile gloves, regular masks, and hair covering. Our office also offers convenient parking options through paid parking and street parking.

This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $55–$65, along with a benefits package that includes medical insurance, PTO, and paid holidays.
